Phillis Thomas is a former Purchasing Manager at Caterpillar, accountable for its South East Asia Facilities. Prior to that, he was network engineer at Airtel and responsible for its telecom rollout in Southern India. He began his career in 2000 with Dishnet DSL and served many roles including in its undersea cable project. His profession took him across US, China, Singapore, Indonesia & Thailand on various assignments. He completed his engineering in electronics from Cochin University Kerala & his MBA from IIT Madras. He continues his learning journey through certifications in Cisco, AI/ML and executive programs from IIM. During his 20 yrs career, he ran multiple business units with interest in IT, operations, procurement, legal, finance, branding and startups.
